> THE LANGUAGE CENTRE is recognised as an officially authorised centre of Spanish by the Cervantes Institute, the official organisation for the diffusion and promotion of the Spanish language throughout the world.







La Red de Centros Asociados is only awarded to those Centres highly recommended by the Instituto Cervantes. The Centres that are awarded the Red Cross are known as Associated Centres to the Instituto Cervantes if they are outside Spain and as Accredited Centres to the Cervantes Institute if they are in Spain.

Requirements to be an authorised centre are:

To achieve set standards of quality in the teaching of Spanish.
To fulfil the legal requirements for teaching Spanish.
To have adequate resources for teaching.
To have a team of teachers who have the relevant qualifications and professional training.
To possess a teaching programme that guarantees good progress.
To establish a maximum number of students per class.
To use advertising which truthfully reflects what is offered.
To clearly state the price of the course and any additional services.
To deal with problems and complaints.

Periodic inspections are carried out by the Cervantes Institute and the accreditation is renewed every two years. http://www.cervantes.es

> Our school has been selected for the Bildungsurlaub by several federal German states List of states 

Both male and female employees have the right, because of a law passed by the federal government in 1976, to continued educational development. Each federal country has its own regulations regarding the continued educational development of employees.

Language courses have to be recognised by the authorities in each federal country. But sometimes the language course in one country needs to be recognised by the companies in another state. Please check individually with your company. You have the right to the Bildungsurlaub by law, 6 months after joining the company.

Bildungsurlaub lasts for 5 days a year but it is possible for the worker to ask for 2 years in conjunction e.g. 10 days. This method of accumulation is especially recommended for language courses.

The company must be given advanced warning in writing. You can only be turned down if the company has important objections. If taken up the Bildungsurlaub cannot be used as a relaxing holiday period. For attending the full term of the Bildungsurlaub you will receive a credit towards holidays.

> Our school is accredited by the Swedish CSN organisation and Swedish students can apply for grants to study at The Language Centre. CSN is the administrative body of the Swedish Education authority and decides what proportion of financial assistance it will contribute towards registration.
